Good July is a collection that aims to bring you peace, joy, and fun. It’s made by Brooke Tansley – a filmmaker, former Broadway star, entrepreneur, and mom of two young kids and two old dogs living in Nashville, TN after decades in NYC and Los Angeles. Her mission is to strengthen communities through storytelling and help people more deeply connect. In addition to Good July, Brooke also helms Folklight Film Club (folklightfilmclub.com), a community-centered filmmaking nonprofit. Their debut documentary series - developed with Discovery and TED - follows a team of scientists across Europe and the Middle East as they try to understand the first humans, asking the question, "When did we become us?"
